Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a good summer.
First of all, I must apologise for the long delay since our last Newsletter. Future newsletters will be sent out every 3 months to keep you all up to date with all our exciting new developments. The first of which is my new TV show “The Pack Leader” which is being aired on Net TV every Thursday from 6th October 2011 for 13 weeks.

Dogs welcome – 5 euro donation to dog sanctuaries
Pelham’s Doggy Day Care
ALL DAY DOG SITTING SERVICE FOR JUST 5 EUROS
It has come to my notice that too many dogs are left home alone all day while their owners have to go out to work. So with the help of my new assistant Dawn I have decided to offer a service to members where they can leave their dogs from 07.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m** for just 5 euros per day*. This is just 50c per hour!! Don’t leave your dogs alone bring them to Pelhams Doggy Day Care where they can play and have the exercise they need.
*minimum of 3 days per week – 1 day 10 euros.
**Pickups after 5.30 p.m. extra 5 euros.
NEW OPENING HOURS
From Monday 10th October I will be open every day from 7.30 a.m.
KIOSK OPENING SOON
The Food kiosk will be opening shortly where we will be able to offer hot and cold beverages, toasted sandwiches, burgers, chips and various other snacks. Those of you that were attending last winter will be pleased to hear our tasty barbeque burgers will also be back!
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Can I please ask all those whose memberships have expired to please come and renew asap.
CHARITY EVENTS
- The Animal Welfare in Ta Qali is celebrating its 1st anniversary on Sunday 9th October with a Fun Day and I am doing a demonstration class to show the public what Pelhams is all about. Please come along and show your support.
- I am organising a charity event for Christmas in order to be able to donate food to the various dog sanctuaries on the island. Please come along and put your name down if you are interested.
TRAINING CLASSES:
I am starting the next round of classes from the end of this month. Please come along to sign up as soon as possible. Classes will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings as before.
My Agility classes proved to be extremely popular last time around, again if you are interested come and sign up asap.
I am also thinking about starting specialized classes in whistle work. Please let me know if you are interested – maximum 8 dogs.
IMPORTANT POINTS
- When you bring your dog to the park please make sure you pick up your dog’s poo.
- Don’t forget to worm your dogs regularly.
